Erm....there seem to be some mistakes in the update here!

The EGLR website is www.lurcher.org.uk.

www.lurcher.org will take you to lurcherlink.

(note from admin - updated in post above, thanks )

And the rescue is based near Evesham, Worcestershire, although dogs are fostered all over.

It's a great rescue. I've fostered and rehomed with them for years. A great team and a great attitude.

Default Hello from a new member & request for staff or helper status

Hi I am new to RHU & just trying to find my way around!

I adopted my carrie from EGLR 3 1/2 years ago & started fostering for EGLR in April last year (2011) & the current foster dog on the sofa is the 16th injust under 16 months & I am loving every minute of it.

In May this year I became the transport & home-check co-ordinator for EGLR & blue2you suggested that I register on this site in order to help other rescue's & when needed to possibly seek help for our rescue.

Therefore I am kindly requesting Rescue Staff or helper status on this site. As I am unsure of the difference between 'staff' & 'helper' I will leave it to you to decide on which & hope that what I have written above gives you enough information.

Many thanks,
Rachel

Hi Rachel Welcome to RHU. I've now switched you to Rescue Staff for EGLR. If you have any queries feel free to ask, also our 'useful information' page should answer any basic questions: http://forum.rescuehelpersunite.co.u...hread.php?t=30

Thanks
Jo
