Default Darcy Staffie DOB 5.2014 Broxbourne Kennels

Known background: Darcy was found stray/ abandoned and unclaimed. We offered him his much needed Rescue place as he was booked to be PTS in his pound. Darcy is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Darcy is currently in kennels near Broxbourne.

About Darcy: Mr Darcy could have been called Mr Dancey! He so bubbles with joy, which is very infectious. Darcy loves dogs and loves to play, spends most of his afternoons mixed in the kennels pack with over 7 dogs. Darcy meets dogs really well on his walks. Darcy adores people even more, people and children, and could live with older children is the family is dog savvy ref a young bull breed. A little reluctant to get into a crate in the car but perhaps this is because he usually is on my front seat passenger: A little nervous initially, but soon settles to enjoy the scenery and companionship on route.

Darcy is a small Staffie who is about 1 year old. Slightly wispery fur ?touch of terrier. Black with a hint of brindle on his back legs which is usual with black Staffies. Darcy could and probably has lived with other dogs. Darcy loves to run and is still playful by nature. Darcy interacts placing your hands in his mouth, softly and with glee, this is Darcy hand holding. His little button eyes shine joy, as if Darcy laughs. Easy little chap.
Darcy needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Darcy is dog fluent and a tad mouthy just part of his exuberance in his love for humans. Darcy would enjoy a secure area ideally a garden to play in. Darcy may take time to settle being left as currently a little needy.

First time dog / staffie owners dog NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.
