Yessy & Yona, two 3 ½ month old crossbreed sisters dog and cat friendly
Yessy & Yona, two 3 ½ month old crossbreed sisters dog and cat friendly (Stroud, Gloucestershire)
These lovely girls are only babies at 3 1/2 months old and have their whole life ahead of them. They were rescued from Spain, found in dis-used stables and sadly pre-rescue someone had cut their ears and tails off which is quite common there!
Despite this terrible ordeal they are both beautifully natured girls. They are possibly Catalan mix (similar to Bearded Collies in nature) and will be rough coated/semi long haired. One thing is for sure ... they will be beautiful! In Spain this type of dogs are usually used for goat herding. Yes they are an active working breed, but part of their character is that they have to be biddable and calm otherwise they would scare the goats.
So biddable and sweet natured - well socialised with other dogs, chickens and cats. They have faces just like teddy bears. They will not be a coach potato dog and would probably be fantastic at obedience, agility etc. *They will make wonderful family pets and be best suited to an active inclusive home.

Yona & Yessy will be fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, flead, wormed and have their own pet passports. They are too young to be spayed, but any potential owners will be expected to spay them as part of adoption agreement when they old enough.
If you are interested in offering either Yona or Yessy a home for the rest of their lives please email for our questionnaire in the first instance to: *firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that any potential home will be subject to home check.
If you'd like to enquire about adopting any of the animals listed here please contact the rescues direct (a link to their website or other contact details should be in the listing) or feel free to register an account on the forum and post on the thread.
Please mention 'Rescue Helpers Unite' when contacting rescues. Thanks!
