A Stevie update to all our kind and generous supporters,
We wanted to give you an update on our beautiful blind boy Stevie.
As you know when Stevie first came into our care he was an extremely nervous and scared boy. We thought we were making good progress with him, but over the last few weeks Stevie's behaviour got much worse. He was very scared and becoming hard to handle. Without our own kennels (we use boarding kennels) it is hard for us to provide the intense rehabilitation Stevie needs, but we realised we couldn't give up on our boy and knew we had to do something else to help him.
So after much deliberation we contacted the wonderful Laura and Ian at Dun-Roamin Rehoming https://www.facebook.com/DunRoaminRehoming?fref=ts and they agreed to take Stevie into their care, where he will have on site behaviourists working with him every day and a secure outside space to play off the lead that he is so scared of.
We will miss Stevie very much but know we have done the right thing by him. We will be working in partnership with Dun-Roamin and will continue to fundraise to raise the money for Stevie's eye operation. And they have said we can go and visit him from time to time and give you updates.
So please share and support our walk to raise funds for Stevie's eye operation and let's help this scared boy regain his sight as quickly as possible and hopefully some of his confidence with it.
Thanks again to Laura and Ian at Dun-Roamin, you guys are amazing and we are so grateful to you. Xx
The Stevie Stagger sponsored walk takes place next week starting on Monday 2nd March, covering 80 miles walked over 6 days - to find out more and to donate please follow this link http://www.seniorstaffyclub.co.uk/Pa...ieStagger.aspx. All money raised on this walk will go directly to pay for Stevies eye operation. Thank you xx
