SPEYED, AND NOW IN FOSTER HOME, HAS PUT ON WEIGHT AND REALLY BLOSSOMED SINCE ARRIVING IN FOSTER HOME. POPPY IS A VERY, VERY AFFECTIONATE GIRL, ADORES HER CUDDLES, FINE OTHER DOGS, WOULD BE BEST LIVING WITH A MALE DOG, NOT GOOD WITH CATS OR SMALL FURRIES. OLDER CHILDREN/TEENAGED AS POPPY IS A BIG STRONG GIRL! HOUSETRAINED, NON DESTRUCTIVE, TRAVELS WELL, WOULD LOVE A HOME WITH LOTS OF SPACE AND PEOPLE WHO LOVE THE OUTDOORS! Poppy was adopted but was returned after only 24 hours

The people who adopted her said that she had gone for another dog whilst out on a walk. We had stressed many times (and it is also stated in all our paperwork) that they would need to keep Poppy on lead as anyone should do when adopting a new rescue dog. As this incident happened, it is hard to believe that she was on lead, as if that were the case, we can't see how this would have happened. Poppy was not given a chance. 24 hours is no time at all for a newly adopted dog. Poppy would have been stressed, having just left her foster home and was not used to these new people or her surroundings. We asked the adopters if they could just give her a chance, but they refused and returned Poppy anyway.

To make matters even worse, her foster carer had made plans to go away when Poppy left to go to her new home and she is now no longer fostering her, and Poppy has had to go back into kennels. This is all very stressful for Poppy

I met Poppy in the pound what a wonderful little doggie!! We played ball for ages

she is so cuddly and so comical! She would make the right people very happy all the best beautiful!! xxx

Poppy can live with a male dog, she can't live with cats (she will want to chase them, as many dogs will!) She can live with older children, over the age of 8 years old, as this is our policy with ex poundies such as Poppy is.
