Default nationwide offers of help needed. 'Rescue' ordered to close.

https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov...3130168&CoID=0

At last!
AA DOG 'Rescue' Latchingdon Essex CM3 6EZ ordered to close in 3months from 8/7/16 by Planning Inspector.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO AS MANY RESCUES AS YOU CAN THINK OF!

THE DOGS NEED YOUR HELP!

The Inspector extended the usual deadline from one month in order to give time to rehome the dogs stranded in the barns, probably about 100 of them.

They will need full behavioural assessment and vet exam: some are likely to have had treatment for leish, having come from Spain/Romania. Treat any statement by AADR about the dogs behaviour and health WITH EXTREME CAUTION. Transport should be crated, at a guess mostly individually for safety. Once loose, many of these dogs will run.

If any rescue can help, please contact Maldon District council or via the Expose page. The dogs will be relieved to be somewhere that cares for and feeds them properly In a clean environment.
Thank you!

It doesn't sound like AA are planning on closing/giving up their dogs, just moving premises:

AA Dog Rescue
19 hrs

Been a tad busy lately, but time for an update...lots of furbabies been reserved this week, and 9 gone off to their forever homes:-) always a happy time then.
Three dogs in from the pound, two surrenders, so that is always sad, but I am sure it won't be long before they find new homes, they are all lovely dogs....

Just a quick note also to let you know, that there is still a lot happening with regards the rescue, but whatever happens, AADR will be remaining open as usual, will be continuing as usual, and will be saving many dogs as usual, whether it be here or at another premises....the more I know I will let you know :-) but the one thing that is 100% is all of our dogs in our care are safe, they will continue to be safe, and AADR is going nowhere.....off to bed now, so catch up later 😘😘
I haven't read all the info on the case or the decision notice from the planning inspectorate but if I'm following it right, what has happened is the planning inspectorate (who you appeal to if you don't accept the decision from your local planning authority) have told them they can't use their current premises as a rescue.

But this doesn't equate to them having to shut down as a rescue. That wouldn't be for the planning department to say, that would, I guess, be the Council Animal Warden or perhaps might even require a prosecution from the RSPCA or something?

As we know there is so little regulation for rescues, the law is certainly an ass where this is concerned.
