THE BIG DAY OUT in Whittington Park

Sunday 8th of June: 1pm-5:30pm Local, fun and free! The Big Day Out festival has been running in North London’s Whittington Park for a decade and is one the highlights of the week-long “Holloway Arts Festival.” Since last year, the park’s community centre (Whittington Park Community Association) has taken over the ropes of producing this niche festival and formed partnerships with local groups and charities to create a truly unique community summer experience.

This year promises a dog show hosted by Hornsey Vets with stalls from All Dogs Matter and Dogs Trust to promote responsible dog ownership, free micro-chipping and adoptions. There will be live music from the Lovebuzz Project, the Whittington Steel Band and The North London Ukulele Collective. Over 30 stalls including food, artisans, local charities, Cubitt Gallery and the Arsenal Penalty shoot-out will be there. This year too marks a collaboration with Acland Burghley’s Art College and Art Department to design the festival’s poster.

The event is FREE and FUN for ALL! A great way to start the summer, enjoy yourself and explore the fantastic people and talent we have in our community.
To book a space for the dog show call Hornsey Vets directly at 020 7272 3354.
