Type of animal(s) Rescue deals with: Dogs

Is Rescue breed specific?: no

Do you neuter all animals before leaving for forever homes where applicable? Please provide details of your neutering policy:
(*If any animals are not neutered before rehoming due to age/health etc. please provide specific details on your policies, timescales for neutering by the new home, how this is checked by the rescue etc.)

Do you always home check?: Yes, on every Re-Home

Do you always vaccinate? (if applicable): yes, Every dog is Vaccinated if they have no vaccination card as proof.

Do you always worm/flea treat? (if applicable): Yes, Every dog is treated for worm and fleas on income health check

Do you microchip? (if applicable): Yes, if a dog is not chipped our vet will chip dog

Do you provide insurance when rehoming to new owners?: No we dont provide insurance but ask new owners to get insurance and we check they have after two weeks when we do a two week check the dog has settled in ok.

Will you always take the animal back no matter what? If not please explain under what circumstances etc: We have life time back up.

Rough 'donation' required per animal, please also explain what this involves: 180 re-home donation, includes flea/worm, chip, neuter/Spay, health check, must meet and greet at fosteres home then at their own home, have home check before adopting.

Can RHU staff/volunteers contact you about animals needing rescue backup that have been posted in our 'backup needed' section?: yes

How long (approx.) has the rescue been active?: 4 years

Other information (optional): we offer free dog training if a dog is not setteling in to well and new owners are not sure what to do, as sometimes people do not stick to a dogs normal routine, we will help and advise when needed.
